Color key

• Youth rows, Kid Kart through Junior MAX, have a grey shade at the left that fades out by the middle. Adult rows have the same shade on the right, fading out by the middle. A combined row is shaded only when every class on it is youth, or every class on it is adult. Track Walk, Lunch, and Welcome Meeting have a checkered flag that is strongest on the right and fades toward the left on a 60 degree angle, gone by about 65 percent of the row. Race rows do not.
• Upcoming start times are orange. Past start times are grey. The class on track is the red row. The race length, in minutes and laps, is papaya and is separate from the start time.
• The temperature sits to the right of the weather icon and is the forecast period in whole degrees Fahrenheit. 0°F through 45°F is blue, 46°F through 60°F is navy, 61°F through 75°F is green, 76°F through 90°F is gold, and 91°F and above is red. A missing temperature says Temp n/a and is not zero. A rain chance through 10% is several fine drops. A higher chance uses more blue lines, up to 10 at 100%. A dry forecast and a cloud with no rain chance have no drops. The exact percent is written next to it. Cloud layers indicate higher rain chance, not storm severity: one cloud through 33%, two through 66%, and three from 67% to 100%. A sun means a 0% rain chance, a dry forecast, not clear skies and not a guarantee.
• An amber bolt means thunderstorms are forecast, not detected lightning, and not an active warning. Follow race officials for stoppages and restarts.
• A red bolt means the forecast grid lists damaging wind, large hail, or tornadoes. That is a severe forecast, not an active warning, and it does not cancel a session on this page. Heavy rain, gusty wind, and a high rain chance do not turn the bolt red. A red drop means the forecast grid lists flooding. It is not a lightning bolt.
• This check covers only Severe Thunderstorm Warning, Tornado Warning, Flood Warning, Flash Flood Warning, and Extreme Heat Warning, including the former Excessive Heat Warning. It is not every warning. Watches, advisories, and Severe Weather Statements are not included. Club policy: qualifying warnings automatically cancel racing. Follow race control for event status. • NKA requires all on-track and outdoor activities to stop when lightning is observed in the area of the facility. Competition cannot resume until 30 minutes after the last sighting. Race officials decide any stop or restart. NKA regulations (2026), section 10.4.3.2.
